Fernwae — A Decisions Company
Privacy
Updated October 6, 2026
Fernwae keeps only what a trip needs. There is no account and no password. A cookie on your browser ties your swipes to you.
What we store
- The name you type, and whether you started the trip.
- The trip name and any dates, nights, budget, departure city, or filters you add.
- Your reactions: Nope, Maybe, or Absolutely.
- A random identifier in the fernwae_person cookie.
Why
We use that information to show the trip, count the group match, and remember who already swiped. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. Trip text is not sent to the shared decision engine in this version of Fernwae.
Where it lives
Trip records are stored in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare may process them in the United States. We keep a trip until it is removed or you ask us to delete the information tied to it.
Your choices
California residents can read the CCPA page. People in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland can read the GDPR page. Both explain how to ask for a copy or deletion.
Fernwae is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
