California privacy

This page is for California residents. It adds the notices in the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act to the privacy page.

Information we collect

• Identifiers: the name you enter, and the random id in the fernwae_person cookie.
• The trip details and reactions you submit.

We collect this from you, when you start a trip, join one, or swipe. We use it to run that trip. We keep it until the trip is removed or you ask us to delete it.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no sale to opt out of. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a limit request.

Your requests

You can ask Fernwae to:

• Tell you the information we have about you.
• Correct it.
• Delete it.
• Confirm that we do not sell or share it.

Include the trip link and the name you used. An authorized agent may submit the same request if they show they are allowed to act for you. We will not deny the service because you asked.
